If you are looking for activities for the whole family to enjoy, Altina Wildlife Park (http://www.altinawildlife.com) is an outstanding safari park with unique personalised tours. City Park is also within easy walking distance to The Grand Motel and you will be amazed at the range of equipment and activities at this incredible wet and dry playground for all ages.
Hermits Caves & Scenic Hill
Ecotourism is also available in Griffith. Scenic Hill has various walking trails, lookouts and is home to the famous Hermit's Cave where Valerio Ricetti lived for over 10 years. Nericon Swamp, part of the Griffith Wetlands Important Bird Area, is an important site for migratory birds. Nearby Cocoparra National Park offers walking trails and there are opportunities to explore along the Murrumbidgee River and Lake Wyangan.
